About Us
The Oklahoma gray fox project is a collaborative effort between USGS Oklahoma Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit, Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation, and Oklahoma State University but would not be possible without help from fur trappers. Our goal is to determine the current status of prairie gray foxes in Oklahoma. Our primary research objectives are to evaluate the spatial ecology and population genetics of the prairie gray fox in Oklahoma.
